Hike to Emerald Lake is an easy 3.5 mile round trip adventure with an elevation gain of 650 feet.

After crossing the ridge and enjoy spectacular panoramic view, the trail leads down to Dream Lake, which is quite frozen. The rest of the year the trail follows the shoreline to the right. At the outlet of Dream Lake is the junction to head to The Loch, Mills Lake, Lost Pond or and the Glacier Gorge Trail.
Crossing the lake noticed a few hikers having a picnic on the ice, warm hearts.
