Mount Democrat Hike 1-1 is a Colorado 14er, 14,154 Distance: 4.2 mi (RT) Elevation Gain: 2,250 ft.
Mt. Democrat on its own is one of the easier 14ers.  Western views from the summit are incredible and on a clear day you can see all the way to the Elk Mountains near Aspen. To Reach Mount Democrat, you turn south out of the town of Alma, which boast as the highest city in the US.
