Butte Montana
Butte Montana is known for it’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. Butte’s first St. Patrick’s Day parade dates back to 1882 and the rest is history. Butte’s history is deep and thick, with a little tour of Uptown exposes interesting builds and past tales. Remember Butte gave us the Copper Kings, Charlie Chaplin, Evel Knievel, and the Berkeley Pit, (the country’s largest superfund site).
St. Patrick’s Day is always fun in Butte, no matter the weather. Traveling through the Northern Rockies, Butte is worth the stop, in between Yellowstone Park and Glacier Park.
